Acorn Training and Assessment Centre is a local training provider accredited with City and Guilds, covering Milton Keynes and North Bucks, specialising in Children’s Care, Learning and Development. This NVQ is suitable for practitioners working in a range of early years and childcare settings with the 0-14 age range, including nurseries, pre-schools, after-school clubs and schools, and also for childminders and nannies. It is a nationally recognised qualification and is available at levels 2, 3 and 4.

We use a combination of in-house and peripatetic assessors, and can also offer assessor training for settings wishing to assess in-house. The NVQ is particularly suitable for those who have gained knowledge and experience in the workplace and who need a minimum of off-site training.
