Training

Tall Oaks is a local training provider accredited with City and Guilds, covering Milton Keynes and North Bucks, specialising in Children's Care, Learning and Development. This NVQ is suitable for practitioners working in a range of early years and childcare settings with the 0-14 age range, including nurseries, pre-schools, after-school clubs and schools, and also for childminders and nannies. It is a nationally recognised qualification and is available at levels 2, 3 and 4.

We use a combination of in-house and peripatetic assessors, and can also offer assessor training for settings wishing to assess in-house. The NVQ is particularly suitable for those who have gained knowledge and experience in the workplace and who need a minimum of off-site training.

Tall Oaks is also able to offer a range of training courses for the continuing professional development of early years and childcare professionals.  The Tall Oaks training centre is also being developed to offer outdoor learning opportunities for the Acorn nurseries and other childcare settings.
